Spring is Here!

My mommy told me to tell you, "Sorry, I'm a very bad blogger!  I don't know how people can do this every day!"
Well, we have been keeping very busy and attempting to be healthy.  Once I finally got over all of my congestion I got Rotavirus.  It was yucky!  I threw up in my bed and it smelled horrible!  The good part was taking a bath at 4:00 in the morning.  Then I had really bad diarrhea for a few days.  You wouldn't believe how many diapers and outfits I went through.  I think I gave my sickness to Mommy, but Daddy was tough and didn't get it.  I'm finally feeling better and I'm super excited that it's finally SPRING!  We have been trapped inside for so long and I love it outside.
We have a play group that we have been doing lots of fun things with lately.  It has kept us busy.  There are lots of kids for me to play with.  We go to all kinds of fun places.  The first picture is lots of my friends.  The second is Boston and me playing in the ball pit.
I have also enjoyed playing with Grandma and Papa while Mommy's working.  They are on vacation right now and can't man me so, I spent one whole day with Daddy this week.  Check out the kind of clothes he likes to put me in and what we like to do together!
Plus, I get to visit Mandi and Lily on the other days.  Lily and I play together, but Mandi makes me clean.  And, I have pictures to prove it!
I have been talking up a storm lately.  The only problem is, no one understands what I'm saying!  Apparently the words aren't real, but they sound good to me.  Luckly I'm getting really good at sign language.  I can tell Mommy and Daddy all kinds of things.  I say please, thank you, milk, more, eat, drink, bath, brush teeth, wash hands, hat, ball, bear, and more!  I haven't learned how to say "get me out of the dryer," but I have learned to crawl inside of it to get the balls I love to play with.
Well, I think that's enough of my babbling for now.  I'll be back soon to let you know how things are going!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wow, can you believe how much I've changed already?  The picture at the top was taken on Valentine's Day last year.  Check back in a few days to see my new Valentine's Day pictures.

It's been a long time since I've been on here to update you.  As you know I've been walking for a few months now.  It was fun and all, but now I've discovered running!!!  I can get into so much more before anyone can catch me.  Some of my favorite things to get into are the dishwasher, Mommy's purse, and of course cupboards!  Who needs toys?  Tupperware, cameras, chapstick, MP3 players, cell phones, CDs, and all the things I shouldn't be playing with are so much more fun!  Right now I'm working on learning my body parts and animal sounds.  My favorite is the duck.  Did you know a duck says "Qack, Qack!"?

For the last week and a half I have been sick.  Last Wednesday I went to the doctor and she said I had pink eye in both eyes, but we aren't so sure that's what it was.  My eyes were all gunkey and crusted shut whenever I woke up though.  It was kind of icky.  Then on Saturday I was back to the doctor.  I had a fever, lots of congestion, a cough, diarrhea, and I was throwing up.  The doctor said it was probably pneumonia so I had to have a chest x-ray.  It was NO fun!  I was so mad.  It turned out I did have pneumonia and had to take some nasty medicine and lots of Motrin.  My fever was 102-104 from Thrusday until Tuesday.  I was miserable!  All I did was sleep, snuggle, and whimper.  It was pretty pathetic.  I did discover something I really like to do though.  Mommy and Daddy let me use my swing again and I love to sit in it watching DVDs.  It was great to be lazy!  Now I'm feeling a lot better so I'm back to getting into everything!

My Birthday and Christmas

Well, to say the least, we have been busy. It has been a solid 2 weeks of fun, family, celebrating and sickness.

On December 22 we started our day by finding out Santa came to our house early. I had lots of presents under the tree and got to open them that morning.

After that we packed up the car and headed to Kalahari. Mommy's whole family was there. It was so cool. We got to swim and slide and spend time together. We spent the night there, and did it all again the next day. When it was time to leave we headed down to Cincinnati to see Daddy's family.

On December 24th, my birthday, we had a party at Nana's house. It was so fun to see my family and friends that I don't see very often. We had yummy cake and presents. That night we went to church and out to dinner. It was a late night, but I wanted my birthday to last as long as possible...so I stayed awake until about 12:15!
The next day was Christmas! Daddy's whole family came to Nana's and we had tons of food, fun, and MORE PRESENTS! It was crazy!

We had to leave the next day to go home. We got home just in time to go to bed and start the celebrating all over again.

On December 27th we went to Grandma and Papa's house for another Christmas!!! All of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and even Grandmama were there. We had more food, more fun and again MORE PRESENTS! Most of my cousins took naps, but not me, I wasn't giving up...there was way too much fun to be had!

December 28th was supposed to be our final day of celebrating. We were supposed to celebrate my birthday in Michigan. But, we ended up canceling. We woke up to no power! Plus, I had a fever and even threw up on Daddy. We ended up going to Grandma and Papa's house again and celebrated with the family. Their power was out to, but Papa has a generator so we had some light and got to see the Lions make their Owin 16 season official.

All this fun has been exhausting! At some point most of the family has been sick. I ended up with it last and just finally go over it! I have posted a slideshow of our Christmas Celebrations and a scrapbook of my Birthday. I will add more pictures soon. I hope you are all healthy and happy enjoying the new year.
